Zella is my only living Aunt left on my mother's side of the family. She is married to mom's youngest brother, Albert. ALL of my Aunts were remarkable and I so enjoyed each and every one of them. Zella is my only living Aunt left on my mother's side of the family. She is married to mom's youngest brother, Albert. ALL of my Aunts were remarkable and I so enjoyed each and every one of them. Zella is super special, as she, like my mom & dad, is extremely family oriented. She wants to make sure that she makes connections with everyone in the family, and is truly interested in everyone's lives. I have always admired and loved her compassion. She is so very hospitable, inviting us over anytime we want. She is also talented as she has sewed clothes, blankets, cooked, canned, gardened, and played games with little grandchildren. I love her laugh -- it is infectious -- and she does that often. She is lively and sweet and just fun to be around. I have enjoyed spending time with her, even though it's not as often as I'd like. She lives in Arizona and I live in Texas. Zella, like others in our large family, taught school and is still just as sharp as ever. I love Zella's zeal for life and I'm honored that she's a part of my family.
